i have 6061 that is 3"x0.187"x144" that is getting cut down to 7.75" lengths, but the material is measuring 3.01" so that will need to get shaved down to fit into the fixture. Currently i have been putting 4 cuts into the vise and cutting it down. i have had a few issues with the material occasionally lifting. Is there an easier way to get it to size, either cut down or in the 12 foot sections?
