Drawing the line on surface rust (used Bridgeport)

How much surface rust do you tolerate on a Bridgeport's table? I'm new to mills, but found one that seems interesting, but it's quite a long drive. It looks like it may have had a damaged base at one time, and some light surface rust on the table, but curious at what point do I draw the line vs " it'll clean up okay "? (For this machine or any other - obviously zero rust is the goal but I'm guessing any used machine won't be perfect ...)

They're asking $1900, and I'll be inquiring for...
