Two good mics and zeros

Many mics here. Not the cheap stuff.
They seem to disagree a few tenths so if working in tenths you have to wonder a tad about trust of any number you get.
What to do do? Who is right and who is wrong?
Same, same with good DTI and surface plate.
Square gauge block style part or round pin type check and zeros?
Is there a measuring difference seen by some?
Change mics or change DTI and you get some other number.
Which number is right?
So easy is the read one gauge and trust it type thing...
